The eco-pellet grow discs are made of sphagnum peat (70%) and coconut coir (30%) and when soaked in water they swell to 7 times their size. The seed is placed in the moistened disc for active root growth. The eco-pots are made of sphagnum peat and act as a nutrient. When the plant has 'struck' (the roots will be coming out of the slits in the eco-pot) you can place it directly in the ground.
